Appeals & Judicial Review
Appeals and tribunal representation — First-tier Tribunal and beyond
Introduction
If the Home Office refuses an application, you may have a right to appeal to the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber). We prepare appeal bundles, witness statements and represent you at hearings. If the tribunal refuses permission to appeal, we can advise on Upper Tribunal permission and judicial review where appropriate.

When you can appeal
Appeal rights depend on the type of decision. We check deadlines and file the correct forms. Time limits are strict; for many decisions you have 14 or 28 days to start an appeal.
What we do on appeals
- Case assessment and appeal strategy.
- Drafting grounds of appeal and witness evidence.
- Preparing hearing bundles and skeleton arguments.
- Advocacy at hearings and case management.
Urgent and interim relief
If delay would cause serious harm, we can apply for urgent consideration or emergency relief. In judicial review claims, we advise on permission stage and timetabling.
